The Brand's Description: 100% Gamay grape. Fresh aromas of strawberries and blossoms introduce plump, sweet berry flavors offset by lively, peppery notes.
My Wine Review & Notes:
Hmm. Well, it’s not bad.
But it’s uncomplicated and uninteresting, very one-note. I don’t think it does a good job showing off the Gamay grape it’s fully made out of. Either that, or they should’ve blended this one a little bit.
I’m not getting much fruit or berry like the description says, and basically no blossoms. Some peppery notes, yes. A medium body, a little bit of alcoholic buzz to it.
But otherwise, it’s not really doing anything for me. I wouldn’t say no, but I wouldn’t get it again.
