Scheid Vineyards – Sur Canyon Red Blend (California)

I liked this Scheid Vineyards Red Blend a lot more than I expected to!

I never have high expectations for airplane wine bottles, but Delta is impressing me a lot here. This is very nice.

Granted, I wouldn’t call it a complicated or particularly REFINED taste, it’s not layered or anything too interesting, but it has to be a crowd pleaser and at that it succeeds. It’s a little bit dry, but still a good amount of fruity.

I would easily drink this regularly, even if I wasn’t stuck on a plane with it as my only option. Thanks for the good flight, Delta.
