Entre-Deux-Mers
Entre-Deux-Mers is a large wine-producing region in Bordeaux, nestled between the Dordogne and Garonne Rivers, as its name literally translates to “between two seas.” Known for its refreshing white wines, the region produces blends dominated by Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle. These wines are typically aromatic, with zesty citrus flavors and a crisp, clean finish.
While white wines take center stage, Entre-Deux-Mers is also home to red wine production under broader Bordeaux appellations. Its diverse landscape and fertile soils make it a versatile area for viticulture, and its wines are celebrated for their accessibility and food-friendly character. The region offers a more approachable and affordable entry point to Bordeaux wines.
